When offered a simple and efficient donation process, neighborhood grocery customers will consistently donate to their community. This is especially true of charities that promote human dignity, health and wellness, and a self-sufficient community.
Grocery retailers who are interested in developing Point-of-Sale charitable giving campaigns with their customers can partner with CGAEF’s Making Change to create a program unique for their stores.
Each Making Change partner determines the causes suitable for their community of stores. These can be national organizations such as the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army, United Way, or local non-profit groups specifically benefitting the community like a nearby elementary school, the neighborhood YMCA, or disaster relief efforts. Making Change can help you identify eligible organizations within your community.
Contact CGAEF Director Brianne Page for more information on the program or to get started with your own charitable giving campaign.
